An ordained and licensed minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Robert “Elijah Storm” Daniels, is blessed to enjoy his longtime profession as a Grammy Award winning songwriter, producer, vocal coach, author, and public speaker, with Billboard chart success spanning over 40 years. A Los Angeles native, Robert Louis Daniels, p.k.a Elijah Storm, is a close descendant of the infamous Ohio native quartet group, The Mills Brothers, and began his career as a protege of the legendary Norman Whitfield (Motown) in the 1970’s, spending a brief stint with the group The Temptations, and being featured in Whitfield’s group Masterpiece (The Girl’s Alright With Me) before writing for such groups as Rose Royce, Willie Hutch, and Lakeside. Elijah Storm is most recognized in the music industry for his collaborations with Robin Thicke (Evolution of Robin Thicke), and Usher (Confessions). Classically trained with a background in gospel, Elijah Storm is sought after for his signature style of vocal production and arrangements, freestyle melody writing and musical composition, and soulful emotional delivery. He is also resourced as a background vocalist for his hair-raising harmonic blends. Paralleling his musical gifts is his gift of imparting confidence and bringing out the best in the artists he works with, which sets him apart in the harsh world of the music business. He is the CEO of BIGG KIDD MUSIC, and the music director, Associate Pastor, and board member of Exciting Ministries, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit outreach ministry. Storm recently relocated from Los Angeles to Cleveland to labor in his assignment the Lord called him to back in 2008 when he first ministered at World Harvest Church in Columbus, OH, ministering to underprivileged youth and young adults. Over the years he has spoken to youth as a guest speaker through various organizations including the Grammy Museum, Cottonwood Leadership College, World Harvest Church, the YMCA, and has served the Long Beach Action Community Partnership organization as an instructor through the L.A.M.P. (Leadership Academy Mentoring Program). He has taught music fundamentals and vocals at Ramah Junior Academy in Cleveland, OH, and continues to partner with his community through workshops imparting into youth and young adults Christian principles, wisdom from his own testimony in the music business, and artist development and training with life skills. In addition to making beautiful music and teaching vocals, he enjoys spending time with his family, studying God’s Word, watching college and pro sports, and listening to classical music.
